Mountain Cycling with both kids

Took Tulia and Nolan out for a short mountain bike ride. Hauling two kids uphill is hard. Tulia was on the trail-a-bike and Nolan is on a seat that is in front of my seat.

Daddy- “Mommy’s cooking, Isn’t that cool?”
Tulia- “Yeah, I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t believe Mommy could cook by herself.”

A Mountain Cycling Ku version 2.0

I took Tulia to Fremont Older today.

I picked her up at school then we went there on the Big Dummy.  Carried her bike and a lunch that I packed.  Once we got to the preserve, I rode us up to the hayfield where it was a little less steep and pretty wide open.

Once we finished lunch in the shade, Tulia got on her bike and rode around a bit.  She was little timid about the uphills at first.  Then we went up to the top of the hill and proceeded to ride down.  She picked up speed but handled it well.  No panicing, she coasted and used her brakes.  At the end of the hill she looked at me ig wide eyes and said, “Daddy, that was fun! Can we do it again, and again, and again!?”

We shuttled up and down for about 5 times, then went home.

I’m a really proud dad.
